Languages Other Than English (LOTE)
Most of the instruction will be given in the target language as guided by the New World Language Standards. In an effort to ensure that every student becomes college and career ready, every lesson incorporates the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) Standards and The New World Language Standards for Learning a Language. Every effort will be made to provide lessons that also meet the linguistic needs of our students who are learning English as a second language. Using a set of specific strategies and research-based approaches will provide language support and access to the material being taught.
