CCHS has earned the SAS designation distinction and was selected as a Schools for Advanced Studies demonstration site based on the implementation of innovative and research-based differentiated curriculum and instruction for gifted and high ability learners. The SAS gifted/talented program provides students a learning environment which encourages extremely high levels of abstract thinking, motivation, interest, achievement, peer interaction, and a radically accelerated pace of learning. Acceptance is based on eligibility criteria, availability of space, and any specific conditions unique to the school. CCHS offers the following program opportunities:
