Pick Up - Drop Off
- Park along a curb that is appropriate for safe entrance/exit of the vehicle.
- Follow all motor vehicle laws and regulations of the road.
- Do not pull into parking lots for pick-up / drop-off.
- Before, during, and after school avoid the BUS AREA, located school side of Lurline ave. between Mayall st. and Vintage st. This includes both LAUSD bus service and City service.
Before 8:30am
Students may walk in through the main 'A' Building through the Vintage st. parking lot. entrance and along Lurline ave. walk-in gates between Mayall st. and Vintage st. (orange circle)
After 8:30am
Students walk in through the main 'A' Building through the Vintage st. parking lot.
Upon dismissal
Students leave through multiple gates along Vintage st. and Lurline ave.
- Be courteous and patient, give yourself plenty of time.
- Students should be dropped off on the same side of the street as the school, or near a cross walk. No jaywalking, don't block any intersections or driveways.
- Do not park in the middle of the street. Double parking is illegal, stalls the flow of traffic, and can result in injury or property damage.
- Do not use your cell phone while driving.
- Do not make U-turns on the streets surrounding the school
- Have students’ backpacks with the children to avoid having to access the trunk of the car. The police have advised against it as it places students between cars and potentially in harm’s way.
- Respect the neighbors.
- Please be mindful of the mentioned safety procedures as the safety of our students is all of our priority and responsibility.
