AP Information

AP Exams will take place May May 7th- May 18th.  Please check your AP brochure for exact times of your exams.
Exam locations will be given to your AP teacher the week before the exam.
AP Registration will begin February 12th-February 23rd in the College Office, A4, AT LUNCH ONLY.  Students must have a registration form a cash or a check (made out to Chatsworth Charter High School) to register for an exam.
Regular exam fees are $94 per exam.  Students on Free/Reduced lunch will pay $5 per exam.
Late Registration will begin February 26th - March 5th.
AP Pre-Administration is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, April 18th & 19th in ORAL ARTS.
Pre Admin sessions will take place every period and you must show up within the first 5 minutes of the period to stay in that session.
Any student taking an AP Exam must attend at least 1 session to fill out your forms before the exam!
This year, in the hopes of alleviating the burden of a large payment due at registration, we will begin a partial payment program where students can bring in CASH partial payments to the student store.  All payments made would then be paid toward their total balance due at registration.  Forms will be given out once we return from the holiday break but are available as an attachment below.
AP COURSE POLICY: Advanced Placement (AP) classes are college-level courses taught as high school classes. Performance expectations are high, and the workload is challenging. Since these are accelerated courses, excellent attendance, work habits, and cooperation are necessary.

Any student may enroll in an advanced placement class. Nevertheless, students need to be aware that they are choosing to enroll in the equivalent of a college freshmen introductory course in a particular subject field and are willing to accept and meet the challenges of that particular class. Many classes require that students complete a summer assignment prior to enrolling in the course. For more information, please talk to your counselor or the AP teacher.

Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, English Language/Composition, English Literature/Composition, Environmental Science, Human Geography, Physics C, Psychology, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Statistics, United States Government, United States History, World History, AP Computer Science.
AP EXAM POLICY: All students who enroll in and complete an AP course are encouraged to take the respective exam in May. Reduced fees are available for those that qualify.
If you would still like to apply for the free/reduced lunch program to qualify for the $5 exam fee, please visit
