The Los Angeles Unified School District has partnered with the Los Angeles Public Library to automatically issue public library cards to all District students. All students enrolled in a LAUSD school automatically has a Student Success Card. There are several benefits for students to have one of these cards:
- Students can borrow up to 5 books at a time.
- There are no overdue fines or fees no matter how overdue a book is.
- Students get instant access to public library digital media such as e-books, magazines, music, movies, and newspapers.
- Students get free access to online tutoring for any K-12 content area.
