Complete the following to Graduate
The A-G requirements are a sequence of 15 courses that are required for admission to the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) systems. The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) incorporates the A-G requirements into its graduation requirements to ensure that all graduates are prepared for college. Along with the A-G requirements students for LAUSD must complete a health course, a service learning requirement and career pathway selection. Finally the California Department of Education requires Physical Education, another History/Social Sciences course and Visual Performing Arts or Foreign Language or CTE course work.
Link to a comparison chart between the A-G requirements a CSU excepts and a UC excepts. All LAUSD graduates must meet the CSUN minimum A-G requirements for graduation from High School.
