Graduation Requirements

Chatsworth Charter High School graduation requirements follow LAUSD, California Department of Education (CDE), and A–G criteria. Students must meet with their assigned counselor each semester and school year to plan courses and stay on track for graduation and College, Career, and World Readiness.

A–G & College Eligibility
  • UC/CSU eligibility requires a grade of C or better in all A–G courses.

  • A D earns graduation credit but does not meet UC/CSU A–G requirements.

  • A–G courses are academically focused and may include approved CTE and elective options that meet subject-area requirements.

Additional Graduation Requirements

In addition to A–G coursework, students must complete:

  • Physical Education, Health, Service Learning, Ethnic Studies, and Career Pathway

Taking External / Non District Courses

Students who wish to enroll in courses outside the District must obtain written approval from their counselor or Assistant Principal before enrolling. Courses taken without prior approval will not be accepted for credit. Students and parents should consult with the student’s counselor to determine appropriate options, including District summer school and enrichment programs. For questions speak to your counselor.
