Description
This course presents an integrated language arts curriculum. Students practice reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking. They interpret and reflect on sampling of English and world literature; discuss issues; write paragraphs, business letters, and short essays; and prepare for the high school proficiency tests.   THIS IS A CREDIT RECOVERY ENGLISH 9 CLASS.  STUDENTS IN THIS CLASS ARE NOT IN THE NINTH GRADE.  THEY ARE REPEATING THIS COURSE FOR THE SECOND TIME OR WERE IN ESL IN THE 9TH GRADE.

Finish the introduction paragraph and BOTH body paragraphs (Shaping Sheet # 1 and Shaping Shett # 2)

Transfer all information from Shaping Sheets onto the sheet of paper that has your introduction paragraph written on it. You should come to class with three of the four paragraphs of your essay completed.

If you can write a conclusion paragraph please do so.
