This course presents an integrated language arts curriculum. Students practice reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking. They interpret and reflect on sampling of English and world literature; discuss issues; write paragraphs, business letters, and short essays; and prepare for the high school proficiency tests.
 
THIS IS A CREDIT RECOVERY ENGLISH 9 CLASS.  STUDENTS IN THIS CLASS ARE NOT IN THE NINTH GRADE.  THEY ARE REPEATING THIS COURSE FOR THE SECOND TIME OR WERE IN ESL IN THE 9TH GRADE.
