"As a department, we believe in teaching students appreciation of different world languages and cultures which contribute to increased global competence.To support this mission, CCHS proudly offers American Sign Language, French, Korean, and Spanish."

Graduation Requirement

In alignment with the A-G resolution, students need a minimum of two years of study of world language coursework (or equivalent) in the same language to meet the district's graduation requirement.  Students of the Class of 2017 and beyond must meet the above-mentioned requirement with marks of "C" or higher.  Three or more years are highly encouraged for competitiveness in college admissions and development of proficiency.
