I am the Music Director at Chatsworth Charter High School. I graduated high school in 2014 from Redwood High School in Visalia, CA. I graduated college in 2019 from California State University, Northridge. I attained my Single Subject Teaching Credential in 2021 from California State University, Northridge. 

We are focused on preparing students for the world of music with a variety of opportunities like Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Color Guard, and Keyboard Classes.

 

This group performs at numerous field and parade competitions throughout the Los Angeles area. Our academic emphasis is on responsibility and achievement. Our students thrive to better themselves and learn to be the best students that they can be.

 

This group is focused on teaching students about the finer details of music. Our academic emphasis is on comprehension. Our students are pushed to learn a myriad of musical genres while understanding the purpose behind the music that we play.

 

This group is all about exposing students to the unique world of jazz. Our academic emphasis is on creativity. Our students are encouraged to venture into unknown territory of improvisation to increase their confidence as a musician.

 

These classes are offered as music electives for non-music students who are interested in the world of music or for those who simply need to complete their high school requirements. Our academic emphasis is on comprehension and performance. Our students will learn the basics of music reading and piano playing to be able to perform a multitude of musical selections.
