In the fourth year of the CAP Grant, Chatsworth Charter High School & G+STEAM Magnet Center continued to build upon stakeholder feedback gathered over the previous years, which consistently reflected strong student and family interest in live musical theatre, art museums, and industry-based cultural experiences. The 2026–2027 CAP Plan expands opportunities to attend additional musical performances, along with continued visits to Paramount Studios and LACMA, and the inclusion of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. These selections were informed by student surveys, parent input, and staff collaboration, ensuring that field trip offerings remain engaging, accessible, and aligned with the core curriculum. Ongoing communication with families through school-wide emails and announcements ensured transparency and opportunities for feedback, while maintaining alignment with VAPA standards and educational goals.
