Former Chancellors All-American right-hander Justin Cassel has been selected to the U.S. professional national team that will participate in the IBAF World Cup in Panama City, Panama, on Oct. 2-15 and at the Pan American Games in Lagos de Moreno, Mexico, on Oct. 20-25.

 

Cassel returned to the mound late this season after rehabing from shoulder surgery and pitched for Charlotte, the Chicago White Sox's affiliate at triple-A International League.
