Chancellors All-City outfielder/pitcher Aaron Brown was selected today by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 17th round of Major League Baseball's amateur draft.

Brown, who signed a letter of intent with Pepperdine, led the Chancellors in batting at .462, hits with 43, doubles with 12, triples with six, runs batted in with 38 and slugging percentage at .785. He tied for the team lead with nine victories and with 75 strikeouts.
