Terrell Funches is off to a blazing start for the Chatsworth boys' basketball team.

Through five games, Funches is averaging 27 points per game.

Funchess had all 17 of his points in the second half against Golden Valley, erupted for 38 in an overtime loss against Valencia, scored 29 against Rio Mesa, had 16 in limited action against Sun Valley and erupted again for 35 against Ventura.

Funches will have his hands full with Oaks Christian Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Moorpark High.

Maybe, Oaks Christian will have its hands full.
