Former Chancellors shortstop Mike Moustakas will participate in the Futures Game, pitting top minor league prospects from the U.S. vs. the World, on Sunday at 3 p.m. Angel Stadium.

On Monday, former Chancellors third baseman Matt Dominguez and second baseman Willie Cabrera, now an outfielder, will play with the South Division team in the double-A Southern League All-Star game in Huntsville, Ala.

The left-handed-hitting Moustakas, drafted No. 2 overall by the Kansas City Royals in 2007, is now a third baseman with the North West Arkansas Naturals. He is making a run at a triple crown title by leading the double-A Texas League with a .355 batting average, 21 home runs and 76 runs batted in despite sitting out several games early in the decision because of an injury.

Dominguez, drafted No. 12 overall by the Florida Marlins in 2007, is in his first full season with the Jacksonville Suns. He is tied for second among active players in the Southern League with 10 home runs and is among the league leaders with 21 doubles, 43 RBIs and and 129 total bases.

Cabrera, the starting right fielder for the Mississippi Braves, leads the Southern League with 27 doubles and is second with a .326 batting average. He is among the league leaders with 88 hits and 42 RBIs.
