Congratulations to the CCHS Smash brother’s team in their competition on Wednesday Oct 6th versus Mater Dei HS, Santa Ana. Three on Three tournament style competitive match best of three. Student Vaccinations: All Los Angeles Unified students who are 12 years of age and older by Monday, January 10, 2022 (unless exemptions apply).

Students who are part of in-person extracurricular programs (including athletics) are required to receive their first vaccine dose by no later than October 3, 2021, and their second dose by no later than October 31, 2021.

Daily Pass for Entry

Los Angeles Unified has launched a one-stop shop web app built specifically for the District to ensure that we get students, faculty and administrators back to schools and district offices as safely as possible. In addition to completing a daily health check through the app, users will be able to book COVID-19 tests and receive test results and messages.

This innovative tool was developed in partnership with Microsoft to bring our students back into the classrooms with the following easy steps:

Assembly Bill (AB) 104 Pupil Instruction: Retention, Grade Changes, and Exemptions OVERVIEW


Assembly Bill (AB) 104 requires school districts to implement policies that give students opportunities to counteract the impact of the pandemic on students' academic achievement and graduation credits. The new law, which went into effect on July 1, 2021, includes options that include requesting retention for eligible students, as noted below, changing grades to a Pass or No Pass for students enrolled in high school last year, and waiving local district graduation requirements that exceed the state credit and course minimums for students who were juniors or seniors in the 2020-21 school year.
