Geometry AB (Period Per. 6)

Course Description

This class is a required class for graduation from high school. Admission to a 2- or 4-year college also requires completion of this course with a "C" or better. This class helps you become more intelligent and improves your IQ. It is also very useful in your everyday life after you finish schooling and take the challenges of being a responsible citizen.

After-School Tutoring Schedule

We are starting after-school tutoring next week (Oct. 5th, 2015).
Geometry students can get help in room D-14 between 2:50-3:50 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Mr. Sark. Please report to the room before 3:00 pm. Students can also get help from other math teachers doing after-school tutoring if they are available. (See the attachment for tutoring list for other math classes.)

Assignments 9-12 These assignments are a review of Chapter 1.

#9CW  Using a coordinate plane to:
       a. graph a given point
       b. read the coordinates of a given point
       c. find the midpoint using the graph and/or the midpoint formula
       d. find the distance between two points by either the short method                 or  the distance formula.
   Take notes off the board during/after class discussion including three           diagrams and the vocabulary list.
