I think there has been some confusion on what the expectations for the weekly assignment are to receive the highest grade possible for this assignment. Each week you are to submit a summary of the article you choose and what you have learned. This should not be more than a paragraph but you can write more. For World History it should be a current event in the world section of the news. For U.S. History it should be a current event in the nation, state, or U.S. section. I hope this clears things up a bit. Remember, this is 15% of your grade for the class. Not only did I think it would be a rather easy 15%, but also I truly wanted you to have an understanding of the world around you.
