A Little Something About Chatsworth High School
Chatsworth High School is a comprehensive high school within the Los Angeles Unified School District with an enrollment of approximately 3,300 students in grades nine through twelve. The school opened in 1963 and is situated on a forty-acre campus in Chatsworth, California, a residential and industrial community located in the northwestern corner of the San Fernando Valley in the city of Los Angeles. The school serves residential students as well as student on the Permits with Transportation Program and the Capacity Adjustment Program.


VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT

The Chatsworth High School Community (students, parents, community, teachers, staff, and administrators) is committed to providing a higher standard of education in which:
  • All are engaged in the task of improving student achievement through a motivating, comprehensive and challenging learning experience.

  • Student gain confidence, knowledge, self-sufficiency and commitment; and
