It is VERY IMPORTANT that every senior fills out their financial form either through FAFSA or the Dream Act. Please DO NOT fill out both applications. If you are not sure if you qualify for the Dream Act, please go to their webpage and answer the questions to determine eligibility.
Stay on top of those private school and out of state applications! Brag sheets are available in the college office and are needed for anyone needing a letter of recommendation. Remember, the more you write, the more detailed the letter. Also make sure to send the link to your recommenders for the Common App.
If you are planning to attend a community college, please begin your registration now! You do not want to wait until late in the spring semester to apply. The new LA Promise allows students within LAUSD to attend their first year at a LA Community College for FREE! Filling out your FAFSA/Dream Act is required.
