Hello parents and students!
Welcome to my Chatsworth Teacher Website. My name is Mrs. Evans and I am a General Education Science teacher here at Chatsworth. I have a mixture of Inclusion classes that I may teach. What is Inclusion you might ask? Inclusive teaching describes the range of approaches to teaching that consider the diverse needs and backgrounds of all students to create a learning environment where all students feel valued and where all students have equal access to learn.
Simply put, Inclusive teaching has two main teachers in the classroom. We both help each other out in a variety of ways in order to help our student's diverse needs. Sometimes we play different roles in the classroom which changes based on the unit and need, but overall we help each other to help our students.
I am happy to be you or your child's teacher and look forward to working with you throughout this year.
