We currently meet in Oral Arts in C hall on Wednesdays at lunch. If we need to change locations due to different factors, we will update you on Remind. If you're interested in seeing what Key Club is about, you can come and join a meeting! :)

Dues are used to help run the district and international levels of Key Club. Also, each individual club is able to determine if they want to up the payment of dues so members can donate to a charity and to the club.

 

For example, the 2020-2021 dues were in total $15. $7.00 goes to Key Club International, $4.50 goes to our district (CNH), $1 goes to Pediatric Trauma Program, $2.50 will go to Chatsworth Key Club so we can help lower the cost of some events (such as Fall Rally and DCON). (Amount of dues may change term to term depending on the needs of Key Club at the time)

 

The answer is yes and no. 

 

You do have to pay dues to get certain benefits. Such as your service hours will count for Key Club, you can receive a stole upon graduation, earn Key Club awards, have the possibility to earn scholarships, receive a membership card & pin, and be allowed to attend Fall Rally & DCON.

 

If you don't pay dues your service hours can still count to the school's requirement, but will not count for Key Club. You are still able to participate in all activities except DCON, Fall Rally, and a couple of others. You are unable to be eligible for a stole upon graduation, unable to receive Key Club awards outside of 'member of the month', and you are unable to apply for scholarships.
