Chatsworth 2, El Camino 1
Ava Justman scattered 3 other hits while striking out 11. Isabella Paganini answered to lead off the 2nd with a parking lot homerun. Van Hook stole Paganini’s potential 2nd homerun at the centerfield fence in the 6th. Téa Carbajal has the walkoff flyball to right that resulted in a dropped ball. Emily Justman stayed red hot going 3-4 on base with 2 singles while Ava hit 2 doubles. Chatsworth wins the West Valley League Title undefeated 10-0.
 
Chatsworth 10, Granada Hills 0 (5 innings)
Ava Justman allowed an infield single and recorded 12 strikeouts in the 5 inning complete game. Emily Justman was 4-4 with a double & triple. Amanda Clack hit 2 triples. Téa Carbajal perfect 2-2 with a walk and sac bunt. Peyton Serrano & Jasmine Wehn both had 2 singles. Chatsworth locks up at least a portion of the West Valley League title.
 
Chatsworth 9, Cleveland 2
Ava Justman struck out the 1st 9 batters while pitching 5 innings allowing 2 hits and 1 earned run. Amanda Clack came in to finish the game 6 up, 6 down. Clack also lead the team with 2 doubles and a single. Gen Alvarez added 2 hits and 2 RBI. Emily Justman also added 2 RBI. Ava Justman also had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 10, Sylmar 0
Amanda Clack pitches 3 innings allowing just 1 hit and Ava Justman finished the 4th inning. Chatsworth scored 5 runs in the 3rd & 4th inning. Jasmine Wehn hit her 1st home run of the year. Amanda Clack had 3 hits. Jazzalyn Rivera was 3 for 3 on base with 2 hits and a HBP. Ava & Emily Justman both doubled. 

Chatsworth 17, Verdugo Hills 2
Amanda Clack pitched a 2 hit complete game (5 innings) for the win recording 7 strikeouts. Prisilla Arellano hit a triple while Peyton Serrano hit a double and a single. Isabella Paganini and Amanda Clack had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 4, Birmingham 0
Ava Justman continued dominating in the circle striking out 12 in a 2 hit complete game shutout. Ava also added 2 insurance runs with a bomb over the centerfield fence. Emily Justman hit her 1st home run this season in the 5th inning. Isabella Paganini was 3-3 on base with 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 23, Taft 0
Ava Justman and Amanda Clack combined for a 5 inning no hit shutout with 11 strikeouts. Amanda Clack had 2 sacrifice flys before hitting a 2 run bomb in the 4th. Jasmine Wehn has 7 RBI on 2 doubles, a single and a sac fly.
 
Chatsworth 7, Barstow 0
Amanda Clack pitched 3 shutout innings striking out 5 and Ava Justman tosses a 1-2-3 inning to close. Clack also had a 2RBI double in the 4th. Isabella Paganini had 2 more RBI on a sac fly and a single. Jazzalyn Rivera came off the bench for a clutch hit. Jada was not a factor.

Chatsworth 1, Marshall 2
Chatsworth had runners on every inning but only pushed 1 run across in the last inning. Marshall had only 3 hits a 2 RBI double to right field in the 3rd inning was enough. Isabella Paganini hit a double and scored on Ava Justman’s 1st hit. Emily Justman and Jasmine Wehn each had a double and a single. Ava Justman and Amanda Clack combined for 9 strikeouts. Justman took the loss.

Ava Justman scattered 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 12 in the complete game shutout. Amanda Clack provided the only run with a bomb to center to lead off the 4th inning. Chatsworth couldn’t bring home Emily Justman who lead off the game with a triple to right field. Chatsworth hitters had 3 consecutive singles with 2 out in the 6th but couldn’t get a run across. 
 
Chatsworth 3, Granada Hills 0
Isabella Paganini’s 3 run bomb in the 1st inning was enough for Ava Justman to get the victory. Ava allowed 2 hits and struck out 18 batters. Téa Carbajal hit a double and Prisilla Arellano had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 9, Cleveland 2
Ava Justman pitched 3 scoreless innings and Amanda Clack pitched the final 4 innings to close the game out. Both pitchers recorded 5 strikeouts. Jasmine Wehn was 4-4 and Isabella Paganini added 3 RBI. Téa Carbajal had 2 doubles & 2 walks. 
 
Chatsworth 4, Birmingham 2 (8 innings)
Chatsworth bats were relatively quiet until the 8th inning. Taking a 1-1 tie when Amanda Clack hit the go ahead run home and Isabella Paganini 2 RBI double followed for the eventual game winning RBI. Better late than never was enough to give Ava Justman the victory allowing 5 hits and recording 9 strikeouts. Emily Justman had 2 hits. Prisilla Arellano had an RBI single to tie the game in the 2nd inning. 

 
Chatsworth 3, South Torrance 1
Ava Justman took the win on 2 hits and 10 strikeouts. Justman responded in the 5th with a 2 RBI single to right. Peyton Serrano knocked in Amanda Clack for an insurance run in the 6th. Jasmine Wehn added a double.
 
Chatsworth 8, Franklin (El Paso, TX) 0
Ava Justman and Amanda Clack combined for a 5 inning shutout victory. Justman recorded 12 strikeouts in 4 innings. Clack hit a 3 run homerun and a sacrifice fly for 4 RBI. Jasmine Wehn and Emily Justman each had 2 hits and Téa Carbajal blasted a triple. Peyton Serrano also added an RBI single.

 
Chatsworth 21, Taft 0
Amanda Clack and Ava Justman combined for a 5 inning perfect game recording 12 strikeouts. Chatsworth has 26 hits. Isabella Paganini was 4-4 with 2 doubles and 6 RBI. Clack and Gen Alvarez each had 2 doubles. Téa Carbajal was 2-2 off the bench with a double and Ava Justman went 3-4 with a double.

 
Chatsworth 5, St. Paul 6
Chatsworth batters put up 10 hits but still fell short to St. Paul. Isabella Paganini went 3-3 with a double and Jasmine Wehn we 2-3 with a double. Amanda Clack and Emily Justman both doubled. Ava Justman took her first loss of the season allowing 4 earned runs on 9 hits and recording 5 strikeouts.

Chatsworth 0, Louisville 0
This pitching duel went 6 innings without a run. Ava Justman recorded 16 strikeouts. Chatsworth only offense came from Amanda Clack and Jasmine Wehn both had 2 hits. Ava Justman was intentionally walked twice to load the bases but Chatsworth couldn’t get the big hit. 
 
Chatsworth 3, Hart 4
Chatsworth hitters managed only 4 hits. Téa Carbajal’s solo homerun in the 3rd lead to a 1-0 lead. Hart answered back with a solo shot in the 4th. The game was deadlocked until the 7th when Hart hit a 3 run homerun. In the bottom of 7, Ava Justman drove in 2 with a double but ended up stranded at 3rd to end the game. Amanda Clack allowed 6 hits and 1 walk recording 5 strikeouts through 7 innings.
 
Chatsworth finishes 4-0 in High Desert Classic
Chatsworth 7, Quartz Hill 4
Ava Justman and Amanda Clack combined for the victory. Justman recorded 11 strikeouts. Gen Alvarez had the game winning 2 RBI homerun in the 4th inning. Jasmine Wehn was 3-3 with 2 RBI. Prisilla Arellano and Clack went 2-3 including a triple by Clack.

Chatsworth 20, Highland 0
Amanda Clack hit a grand slam homerun as 1 of her 3 hits. Jasmine Wehn hit 2 doubles while Sophia Soriano was 4-4 on base. Chatsworth tallied 15 hits which was plenty for Ava Justman. Justman tossed a complete game (5 innings) 2 hitter with 11 strikeouts.
 
Chatsworth 9, Golden Valley 2
Chatsworth scores 8 runs in the first 2 innings. Ava Justman and Amanda Clack combined for the win allowing just 1 hit. Justman recorded 7 strikeouts and allowed 2 unearned runs. Clack closed out the final 2 innings 6 up, 6 down with 3 strikeouts. Clack & Ava rack also added doubles. Peyton Serrano had a 2 RBI single. Jazzalyn Rivera had a 2 RBI double. 

Chatsworth 10, Santa Paula 0
Ava Justman tossed a perfect game recording 11 strikeouts. Jasmine Wehn went 3 for 4 with 5 RBI and Isabella Paganini had a 2 RBI double. Amanda Clack and Emily Justman also went 3 for 4. Téa Carbajal was 3 for 3 on base with 2 singles.
 
Chatsworth 2, JSerra 0
Gen Alvarez hit a clutch 2 out RBI single in the 4th inning scoring Sophia Soriano for the eventual game winning run. Emily Justman drove in an insurance run 2 batters later as 1 of her 3 hits. That’s all Ava Justman needed tossing a 2 hit complete game shutout with 13 strikeouts. Amanda Clack also had 2 hits while Téa Carbajal reaches base safely twice.

Chatsworth 2, Hart 0
Amanda Clack base hit scoring Emily Justman in the 1st inning ended up being the game winning hit. Téa Carbajal’s hard grounder to short scored Jasmine Wehn for the final run of the game in the 3rd inning. Ava Justman earned the complete game shutout without allowing a hit until the 7th inning. Justman recorded 9 strikeouts.

Chatsworth 1, Thousand Oaks 0
Chatsworth missed several opportunities with 10 base runners left on base but Freshman Peyton Serrano’s RBI single scoring Isabella Paganini was enough for the win. Ava Justman picked up where she left off with another 2 hit, 11 strikeout complete game shutout. Jasmine Wehn had 3 hits including a double while Emily Justman and Serrano each had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth splits 1st 2 games of Savanna Tournament after 2 consecutive rained out weekends.
Chatsworth 2, Redlands 0
Emily Justman, Amanda Clack & Jasmine Wehn’s string of hits in the 6th inning was all the offense needed for the win. Wehn’s double drove in the only 2 runs of the game. Ava Justman did her part by allowing no hits and striking out 17 in 6 innings. Justman, Gen Alvarez and Peyton Serrano each hit singles.

Chatsworth 6, Kennedy (La Palma) 11
The Chatsworth win streak ended at 20 games over the past 2 seasons. Kennedy over powered Chatsworth with 11 hits. Isabella Paganini took the loss. Chatsworth didn’t go quietly scoring 4 runs in the 5th inning capped by Amanda Clack’s bases loaded triple. Jasmine Wehn had 3 hits and Emily Justman had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 2, Saugus 0
In the season opener, Chatsworth picked up where they ended the 2018 season with a win over Saugus 2-0. Isabella Paganini had 2 hits including the game winning 2 rbi single scoring Prisilla Arellano and Jasmine Wehn in the 4th inning. That was enough for Ava Justman who allowed 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 6 for the shutout win. Saugus made a run in the bottom of the 7th with a double and single but Justman struck out the final 2 batters to end the threat. The win extended the win streak from last year to 19 straight.

2018: 
Chatsworth advances to CIF LACity Section Open Division Championship game against San Pedro HS. The game is scheduled to start at 4:15pm at Cal State Dominguez Hills complex immediately following the Division 1 Championship game. Admission is $10 adults, $8 students with ID, under 4 is free. Directions are on the link on our schedule page of the website. 
 
Chatsworth 4, El Camino 2
Facing El Camino in the CIF semi finals and being the 3rd time this season didn’t stop Ava Justman as she allowed only 3 hits. Annie Moore had 2 of those hits including a lead off double. Madi Gilmore hit a “to the fence” sac fly to Ruby Salzman and Caitlyn Wall got a 2 out single to score El Camino’s only other run in the 1st inning. Ashley Murphy took her 3rd loss of the season as Chatsworth hitters got 7 hits and several hard line outs. Emily Justman ripped 2 hits including a double which then became the tying run in the 5th. Ruby Salzman got the 5th inning started with a one out solo homerun to centerfield. An untimely El Camino error on Isabella Paganini’s ground ball extended the inning as Jasmine Wehn scored Prisilla Arellano for the eventual game winning run. Ava Justman followed with her 2nd hit, a double, scoring Wehn to make it a 4 run 5th inning. That is all Ava Justman needed as she retired the next 6 batters without a ball leaving the infield. Chatsworth advances to the Championship game Saturday.
 
Chatsworth 7, San Fernando 4
In the 1st round of the playoffs, Chatsworth revenged last years loss to San Fernando that ended the season. Ava Justman was challenged in the circle trying to overcome 5 batters reaching on defensive errors. Only 1 of those batters crossed the plate. Ava gave up 3 earned runs on 5 hits including 2 homeruns while striking out 7. Offensively, Ruby Salzman supplied all of the power needed to win going 3 for 3 including 2 homeruns for 5 RBI. Isabella Paganini had an RBI single and Jasmine Wehn had a hit.
 
Chatsworth draws #2 overall seed in Open Division. 1st playoff game is against San Fernando on Thursday, May 10 at 3:00pm @ Home. This is a rematch of earlier this year and a rematch of last year's playoff loss.

Chatsworth completed the perfect 10-0 West Valley League Championship. Ava Justman pitched a 1 hitter facing only 2 over the minimum for the win. Homeruns by Justman and Isabella Paganini resulted in 3 intentional walks. Ruby Salzman hit a parking lot 2 run homerun to go with her pair of singles. Lyndsey Zamora and Jasmine Wehn each had 2 hits.
 
Chatsworth 30, Taft 2
Amanda Clack and Ava Justman combined to allow 5 hits and strikeout 8 for the win. Chatsworth slammed the ball with 26 hits. Top performers include Ruby Salzman with 2 grand slams and 10 RBI, Amber Toven hit for the cycle, Jasmine Wehn was 6 for 6 and Isabella Paganini added another homerun and 2 doubles.
 
Chatsworth 4, El Camino 1
Chatsworth has locked up at least a share of the West Valley League Championship needing only 1 win against Taft (Friday) or Birmingham (May 4) to secure the title. Chatsworth advances to 8-0 in league sweeping the season series from El Camino. Ava Justman was outstanding in the circle scattering 4 hits. Justman hit what was the eventual winning run with a solo shot of her own that hit the top of the fence and continued over. Isabella Paganini had 2 RBI singles. Amber Toven had 2 hits and a walk while Ruby Salzman celebrated Senior Day with a double, single and stolen base.

Isabella Paganini and Ava Justman tag teamed the victory scattering 7 hits and striking out 7. Ava and Ruby Salzman were a perfect 4-4 on base. Ruby hit 2 triples while Amber Toven hit a double & Triple for 4 RBI.

Ava Justman tossed another shutout complete game. Allowing only 3 hits and striking out 10. Ava also drove in the only run in the 2nd inning. Téa Carbajal ripped 2 hits including a double and scored the only run.

Amanda Clack tossed a perfect game allowing no hits and 7 strikeouts. Chatsworth hitters had 20 hits. Téa Carbajal had 7 RBI and Sara Corralejo added 6 RBI.
 
Chatsworth 5, Notre Dame 1
Ruby Salzman’s 3 RBI triple in the top of the 7th inning was the eventual game winning hit. Ava Justman threw only 86 pitches scattering 3 hits and 7 strikeouts. Emily Justman had 2 hits while Amber Toven and Jasmine Wehn each had RBI hits.

Ava Justman and Isabella Paganini combined for a 1 hit complete 5 inning game shutout facing only 1 batter over the minimum. Every Chatsworth player in the lineup had either a hit or RBI. Amber Toven had 3 hits including a grand slam homer. Jasmine Wehn had 2 doubles and 2 RBI. Lyndsey Zamora launched a triple to right field and both Ava & Emily Justman had 2 hits a piece.

Isabella Paganini and Amanda Clack combined on a 1 hit 5 inning complete game shutout. Ruby Salzman and Amber Toven each had 3 hits. Ruby hair a 3 run homerun and Amber hit a triple. Paganini hit a pair of doubles and both Téa Carbajal & Jasmine Wehn each had 2 hits including a double.

The Chatsworth defense made it difficult for Ava Justman who allowed only 1 earned run. Justman had 5 strikeouts and scattered 6 hits despite 6 Chatsworth errors. Bella Paganini pitched to 4 batters in the 7th for the save. Amber Toven had 3 hits and Lyndsey Zamora hit a 2 RBI double. Emily Justman hit a triple while Jasmine Wehn & Téa Carbajal each had 2 hits. Ava added an RBI single.

Ava Justman picked right where she left off yesterday tossing a complete game(5innings) shutout Including 8 strikeouts over San Fernando. Amber Toven was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Amanda Clack and Ava Justman also had hits. 

Chatsworth 5, Barstow 0
Bella Paganini got her first start as a Chatsworth pitcher and made the most of it. Throwing 4 1/3 shutout innings with 6 strikeouts and 3 hits. Amanda Clack came in to get the save and the final 2 outs. Bella helped herself out with 2 hits. Amber Toven provided the power hitting a 2 run homerun in the 4th along with a game lead off double. Jasmine Wehn had 3 RBI. 
 
Chatsworth 1, El Camino 0
Ruby Salzman’s 2 out solo home run in the 5th inning proved to be enough support for pitcher Ava Justman. Ava scattered 3 hits and struck out 6 batters earning her 2nd victory this week. El Camino did not get a runner past 2nd base. Jasmine Wehn was 2-3 on base while Lyndsey Zamora & Amber Toven also had hits. 
 
Chatsworth 5, Granada Hills 2
Ava Justman in her Chatsworth debut delivered a win allowing 2 runs on 3 hits and getting 7 strikeouts. Bella Paganini closed the 7th inning in her debut recording the Save. Justman and Paganini also contributed at the plate. Ava had 2 hits and a RBI while Bella hit a RBI double. Amber Toven had 2 hits and an RBI and Ruby Salzman hit a RBI double to lock the win. This was the West Valley League debut for both teams. Chatsworth is 5-5 on the season while Granada is 7-8-1.
 
Chatsworth 8, Arleta 2
Homeruns by Amber Toven & Jasmine Wehn were the big hits that lead Chatsworth to the victory. Ruby Salzman & Lyndsey Zamora each added 2 hits. Amanda Clack allowed just 2 runs on 5 hits pitching the complete game. Munoz was 2 for 2 and a hbp scoring a run and also had an rbi.
 
Santa Paula 2, Chatsworth 0
9 strikeouts by M Barrozo was the key to the complete game shutout for Santa Paula. Amanda Clack had 2 hits. Jasmine Wehn, Ruby Salzman and Katelyn Santisteban each had hits. 
 
Hart 3, Chatsworth 1
Amanda Clack allowed only 6 hits taking the loss. Amber Toven (double), Clack, Giselle Morales and Téa Carbajal had hits for Chatsworth.
 
Troy 7, Chatsworth 5
Chatsworth lost to Troy 7-5 in the opening game. Troy and Chatsworth each compiled 9 hits. Amber Toven went 3 for 3 with a triple and Jasmine Wehn & Lyndsey Zamora each had 2 hits. Amanda Clack struck out 3 and walked 2 in the loss.
 
Chatsworth 5, California 4
Chatsworth rebounded in the 2nd game to take a 5-4 victory over California HS in Whittier. Amanda Clack scattered 6 hits and 2 walks and added 3 hits to get the win. Jasmine Wehn had 2 hits including a double. Amber Toven also had 2 hits ending the game with a walk off triple.
 
Charter Oak 17, Chatsworth 3
Chatsworth 7, La Mirada 1 
Chatsworth splits at day 1 of the Savanna Showcase Tournament. After a rocky 1st inning after 9 runs, a shocked Chatsworth team finally recovered in the 4th inning to score 3 runs in the 17-3 loss to Charter Oak. In the 2nd game against La Mirada who had earlier beat Charter Oak 12-0, Chatsworth recovered both offensively and defensively. Amanda Clack scattered 3 hits over 6 innings and allowed 1 unearned run in the victory. Home runs by Ruby Salzman and Téa Carbajal lead the offensive attack. Doubles by Amanda Clack and Jasmine Wehn and 2 hits from Lyndsey Zamora secured the win.
 
Chatsworth 35, Van Nuys 0
Chatsworth started off hot scoring in every inning including a 27 run 4th inning. Amanda Clack was perfect facing only the minimum 15 batters.

Chatsworth 6, Sierra Canyon 6
In a back and forth battle Sierra Canyon tied it up in the bottom of the 7th inning as Ruby Salzman threw out the potential winning run at home where Lindsey Lowe ended the game. Amanda Clack helped her own cause with 3 hits. Janice Hernandez, Shianne Dzvonick and Jasmine Wehn each had 2 hits. Chatsworth ends the regular season 21-11-1.
 
Port of L.A. 2, Chatsworth 1 (8 innings)
Amanda Clack scattered 7 hits and 4 strikeouts for the loss. Annalise DeLaRoca settled in after Ruby Salzman's lead off homerun allowing only 2 more hits and 13 strikeouts. Jasmine Wehn hit a 2 out double in the 4th and Lindsey Lowe lead off the 7th with a single but could not get her home. Robin Grayson got her 2nd hit on the walk off single that lined by Janice Hernandez in the 8th inning.
 
Chatsworth 4, El Camino 3
Chatsworth finishes West Valley League on a high note completing the season sweep of El Camino and finishing 3rd place in League. Amanda Clack held off a 6th inning 3 run rally for the win. Lindsey Lowe hit the eventual game winning 2 RBI single to score Gaby Galvan and Ruby Salzman. Lowe also had a triple and went 3-4 on the day. Natalie Zamora went 2-3 with a triple and Lyndsey Zamora also hit a triple.
 
Granada Hills 2, Chatsworth 1
Amanda Clack kept Granada in check allowing just 2 runs but Ava Justman dominated the Chatsworth 5,6 & 7 lineup for 8 of her 10 strikeouts. Lindsey Lowe drove in Ruby Salzman for the only Chatsworth run in the 6th inning. Jasmine Wehn lead off the 2nd inning with a hit.
 
Cleveland 7, Chatsworth 2
Amanda Clack allowed 3 earned runs and 6 strikeouts in the loss. Lindsey Lowe led the Chatsworth hitters with 3 hits. Jasmine Wehn had an RBI single and Janice Hernandez had a double.
 
Birmingham 8, Chatsworth 3
Amanda Clack took the loss allowing only 2 earned runs behind a 6 error performance. Chatsworth waited until the 6th inning to score on Jasmine Wehn's RBI single scoring Lindsey Lowe after her double. In the 7th inning, Ruby Salzman knocked in the final 2 runs for the day scoring Lyndsey Zamora and Sara Corralejo.

Amanda Clack pitched the complete game shutout allowing 4 hits and recording 4 strikeouts. Lindsey Lowe went 4-4 with a double and 2 RBI and Tèa Carbajal hit 2 doubles. Natalie Zamora iced the game with a 2 run homerun over center. Shianne Dzvonick also added 2 hits.

After giving up 6 runs and 2 homeruns in the first 2 innings, Amanda Clack came in relief to finish the game scattering 3 hits for 1 run and the win. Lindsey Lowe had 5 RBI on 2 doubles and the walk off hit to end the game. Lowe was 7-8 and 1 ROE and 7 RBI for the day. Natalie Zamora reached all 3 times including a triple. Tèa Carbajal added 2 hits.

Janice Hernandez and Amanda Clack combined for a 5 inning 1 hit shutout with 8 strikeouts. Clack was 4-4 on base with 3 hits and Natalie Zamora knocked in 3 RBI. Hernandez also hit a triple while Sara Corralejo added a pair of hits.
 
Chatsworth 5, El Camino Real 4
Amanda Clack scattered 5 hits and 3 strikeouts in the complete game victory. Chatsworth stranded 7 runners through the first 5 innings. In the bottom of the 6th, Chatsworth took advantage of a couple errors and a pinch hit RBI single by Sara Corralejo and a 2 RBI double by Tèa Carbajal for 5 runs in the inning. Lindsey Lowe added 3 hits including a double for Chatsworth.
 
Chatsworth 20, St. Monica 5
Janice Hernandez scattered 7 hits for the complete game victory. Jasmine Wehn drove in 5 RBI on 2 hits and Sara Corralejo had 4 RBI on 3 hits including a double. Lindsey Lowe hit a 3 run home run while Tèa Carbajal and Amanda Clack each had 3 hits.
 
Crescenta Valley 8, Chatsworth 4
Amanda Clack took the loss allowing 10 hits. Jasmine Wehn went 3-3 with a double and knocked in all 4 runs for Chatsworth. Tèa Carbajal had a hit and 2 HBP. Natalie Zamora and Amanda Clack both hit doubles.
 
Granada Hills 8, Chatsworth 0
Ava Justman tossed a 1 hit complete game with 11 strikeouts. Jasmine Wehn got the only hit in the 2nd inning. Chatsworth had runners at 2nd & 3rd base with 1 out in the 1st & 6th innings but could not take advantage. Amanda Clack pitched 5+ innings and scattered 5 hits and 6 walks for the loss.
 
Cleveland 10, Chatsworth 7
After 4 no-hit innings, Chatsworth collapsed to allow 10 runs in the last 3 innings on 8 hits, 4 errors, 1 walk and 3 HBP. Tèa Carbajal added 4 hits. Ruby Salzman had a homerun ruled as a ground rule double. Chatsworth had 16 hits including a triple from Janice Hernandez and doubles from Lindsey Lowe and Shianne Dzvonick.
 
LHS Classic Review:
Almost 275 games were played in February and March in this tournament. Based on the tournament format that the team with the best overall record and fewest runs allowed is crowned the tournament champion.
In the Varsity Division the tournament champion is Chatsworth who went undefeated and allowed 0 runs
Chatsworth recorded 5 shutouts in the tournament against Reseda, Palisades, Fillmore, Verdugo Hills & Grant.
In the JV Division, Chatsworth went 4-0 in the Tournament outscoring their opponents 48-10.

Janice Hernandez notched her 5th win on the season with a 5 inning complete game 1 hit shutout. Janice totaled 8 strikeouts and added a double while at the plate. Tèa Carbajal was outstanding at the plate going 3-3 and a sacrifice fly for 4 RBI. Lindsey Lowe powered a 2 run homerun and added a double. Shianne Dzvonick also hit a double for 2 RBI and 2 walks.
 
Chatsworth 4, Verdugo Hills 0
Amanda Clack pitched a 6 inning 2 hit shutout for her 10th victory of the season. Janice Hernandez had 2 hits and a 2 base error to lead the hitting. Tèa Carbajal and Jasmine Wehn added RBI hits.
 
Chatsworth 14, Birmingham 4
Amanda Clack pitched 4 solid innings allowing 4 hits and striking out 6. Janice Hernandez shut down the game getting the final out. Lindsey Lowe and Jasmine Wehn lead Chatsworth with 3 hits each. Sara Corralejo had 2 clutch hits off the bench. Ruby Salzman had 3 RBI going 4-5 on base.
 
Chatsworth 11, Taft 0
Amanda Clack tossed a complete 5 inning game facing only 16 batters. Amanda allowed 2 hits and struck out 7. Tea Carbajal went 4-4 with 2 doubles. Shianne Dzvonick had 2 hits and a HBP. Natalie Zamora was 4-4 on base. Jasmine Wehn also added 2 hits.
 

Chatsworth takes 2nd Place at High Desert Classic

The High Desert Classic Tournament in Lancaster came down to a rare matchup with 2 LA City teams playing for the Championship. 

 

Chatsworth 3, Granada Hills 6

Chatsworth got a fast start scoring 2 runs in the 1st inning on a RBI double by Lyndsey Zamora. Granada answered back with 4 off starter Janice Hernandez on 3 hits and 2 costly errors by Chatsworth. Janice Hernandez lead off the 6th with a triple and Jasmine Wehn hit an RBI ground ball to finish the scoring. 

 

Chatsworth 1, Heritage Christian 0

Amanda Clack tossed her 2nd complete game shutout of the tournament allowing 6 hits and 4 strikeouts. Lyndsey Zamora hit a high deep fly ball to left which was misplayed and Lindsey Lowe scored from 1st. Tèa Carbajal and Julie Valdez each added 2 hits.

 

Chatsworth 6, Saugus 3

Janice Hernandez recovered in the Saugus rematch to scatter 5 hits and a complete game victory. Julie Valdez hit a line drive homerun down the left field line and a sacrifice fly for 2 RBI. Lyndsey Zamora and Lindsey Lowe each hit a double and triple. Ruby Salzman added a triple and Natalie Zamora had 2 hits.

 

Chatsworth 10, Barstow 0

Amanda Clack pitched a 5 inning complete game shutout scattering 4 hits and 3 strikeouts. Ruby Salzman hit a double and triple and Janice Hernandez went 3-3. Jasmine Wehn had 2 hits including a double and 2 RBI. Tèa Carbajal had 2 hits and a walk. Lindsey Lowe and Lyndsey Zamora each had 2 hits.

 

Saugus 9, Chatsworth 8

Chatsworth Varsity suffered a heartbreaking loss after a walk off grand slam to end the game. In the top of the 7th Chatsworth broke the 3-3 tie scoring 5 runs capped off by Natalie Zamora 2 RBI double. Saugus scored 2 in the 1st off 2 doubles and a sac fly and added their 3rd run on a homerun. Lyndsey Zamora tied the game in the 4th with her 1st home run of the season. Lindsey Lowe had 2 hits including a 2 RBI double. Ruby Salzman also added 2 hits.

 

Varsity advances to 3-0 in Lincoln Classic without allowing a run so far.

Chatsworth 5, Palisades 0

Janice Hernandez pitched a complete game shutout scattering 5 hits and 3 strikeouts. At the plate Janice scored the first run and was 2-4 with a triple. Tèa Carbajal went 2-2 with a walk and Sara Corralejo went 2-3 with a triple. Jasmine Wehn also went 2-3 and Gaby Galvan hit a double.

 

Chatsworth 4, Fillmore 0

Amanda Clack pitched a complete game shutout over Fillmore. Ruby Salzman supplied all the offense needed with a 3 run homerun in the 2nd inning. Janice Hernandez hit a double and drove in the final run on a sacrifice fly to left field.

 

Chatsworth 6, Chaminade 1

Amanda Clack pitched 6 2/3 innings scattering 6 hits and 3 strikeouts for the victory. Natalie and Lyndsey Zamora were the main offense. Natalie went 3 for 3 and Lyndsey had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Chatsworth took advantage of an error and 5 hits in the 1st inning and never looked back.

Savanna (Anaheim) 6, Chatsworth 3

Janice Hernandez pitched the complete game allowing 3 earned runs. Ruby Salzman and Janice both had a double and single. Chatsworth made a late run in the last inning scoring 2 and leaving the bases loaded. 

 

Chatsworth 4, Godinez (Santa Ana) 3

Amanda Clack allowed 0 earned runs on 2 hits and Janice Hernandez came in to get the final out and the save. Natalie Zamora had 2 hits to extended her hitting streak to 12 going 10 for 10 with 2 walks. Lindsey Lowe added a pair of hits and reached on an error. Lyndsey Zamora had a clutch 2 RBI single in the 1st inning. Godinez scored 3 in the last inning on 4 consecutive errors. 

 

Chatsworth 9, Hart 4

Amanda Clack pitched a complete game victory while striking out 5. Offensively the day belonged to the Zamora sisters. Natalie stayed torrid hot getting 2RBI on 3 hits and a walk. She has 8 hits and 2 walks in her last 10 plate appearances. Lyndsey hit 2 doubles and had 5 RBI. JV loses a close one 4-8. 

 

Chatsworth 19, Van Nuys 1

Janice a Hernandez tossed her 2nd victory with 7 strikeouts. Chatsworth recorded 13 hits, lead by Natalie Zamora with 4 hits including a double and triple. Shianne Dzvonick had 4 RBI on 3 hits and Ruby Salzman knocked in 3 with 2 hits including a triple. For Van Nuys M. Negrete had an RBI single and J. Orozco hit a double and a single. JV wins 18-1.

Chatsworth 11, Northview 6

Janice Hernandez earned her first win as a pitcher going 3 2/3 innings. Lindsey Lowe lead the way with 3 hits including a triple and a walk. Tèa Carbajal had 2 hits and Jasmine Wehn was 2-3 on base. 

 

California 4, Chatsworth 1

Amanda Clack pitched 5 innings while striking out 3. Chatsworth took a 1-0 lead on Natalie Zamora's RBI single in the 4th. California scored 4 runs in the 5th on a bases loaded triple by Skiela Martinez. Janice Hernandez and Julie Valdez were 2-3 on base. 

 

Chatsworth 7, Reseda 0

In the season opener Chatsworth defeated Reseda in a Lincoln Classic Tournament game. Amanda Clack pitched 5 no hit innings with 13 strikeouts. Gaby Galvan closed out the game. Janice Hernandez hit a double and triple and Julie Valdez had 2 hits including a double. Chatsworth plays at California High School on Saturday in the Savanna Showcase.
