My Favorite Place

By Naike Owens

The best times
You can only get at one place.
The best feeling in the world
Because you know that you’re safe.
Where when you close your eyes
There are no worries, just hopes
Where her friend is your friend
And a joke is a joke.
No screaming, no fights
You can relax and be free
Where dreams come true
And fairy tales aren’t just for TV.
You’re accepted here too
Even if your past isn’t that great
When you come to this spot
There’s all love, there no hate.
Because people appreciate you
With you they’re impressed
When you try your hardest
It’s considered your best.
You can invite a friend
Hey! Invite family too
Because this place is your own
And the boss here is you!
