Former Chatsworth Baseball LA City Player of the Year Honored
Justin Cassel, a standout on Chatsworth High School's 2003 National Championship team, was named the Collegiate National Player of the Week after recording a career-high 15 strikeouts for the University of Irvine on April 21st. Cassel received a no-decision in his latest start, a game in which he pitched 9 innings, striking out 5 while surrendering 2 runs on 4 hits, on Tuesday, May 2nd against UNLV.
