Design and Technology Academy

Create create a three-dimensional diorama of one of the sets for the play. First, review details given in the stage directions to visualize the setting. Then consult reference books on colonial homes in New England for ideas on decor. See the rubric for what you will be graded on. Include a copy of the rubric when you submit your assignment.  Have your name and information written in MLA format on the rubric.

 

Arts and Media Academy

Create a costume design for one of the characters in a production of The Crucible. To make your design as historically accurate as possible, research 17th-century American fashions typically worn by Puritans, ministers, judges, household servants, farmers, and so forth. See the rubric for what you will be graded on. Include a copy of the rubric when you submit your assignment.  Have your name and information written in MLA format on the rubric.

Write a newspaper editorial expressing your opinion about the causes of the witchcraft hysteria in Salem more than 300 years ago.
